Privacy Policy

Purrmind is a small, cozy app built around one idea: tap the cat, get a bit of encouragement. This policy explains what information the app collects to make that work, why, and who else touches it. It applies to the Purrmind mobile app and any web pages Purrmind operates, including this one.

Opening the app for the first time creates an anonymous account automatically — no sign-up form, no email or password. Everything below is tied to that anonymous identifier, not to your real-world identity, unless you choose to link an account through a future sign-in feature.

We do not collect your name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or health data. Purrmind has no advertising SDKs and does not use your data for ad targeting.

We use the information above only to run the app: to remember your streak and saves between sessions, to show you the customization options you've unlocked, and to check whether you have an active subscription so premium content unlocks correctly.

If you enable daily reminders, those are scheduled entirely on your device through your operating system's notification system — Purrmind does not operate a push-notification server and does not know when or whether a reminder was shown.

Purrmind relies on a small number of specialized services rather than building everything itself. Each only receives what it needs to do its job:

• Supabase — hosts the app's database and anonymous authentication (your streak, saves, and customization choices).
• RevenueCat — manages subscription status across app stores. RevenueCat receives your anonymous account identifier and purchase events, not your payment details.
• Apple App Store / Google Play — process the actual payment. Your card or payment details go directly to Apple or Google; Purrmind never receives or stores them.

Each of these providers has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data on our behalf.

Data is stored with Supabase, which encrypts data in transit and at rest, and access to the database is restricted by row-level security so an account can only read and write its own data. No system is perfectly secure, but Purrmind's data footprint is intentionally small — there's simply less to lose.

Because accounts are anonymous by default, uninstalling the app disconnects your device from that account, but the underlying data may persist on our servers until deleted. To request deletion of your data, contact us at the address in Contact — if you know it, include your anonymous account identifier to help us locate the right record; otherwise we'll work with whatever device or purchase details you can provide.

Purrmind is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your data, or to object to certain processing (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK, or the CCPA in California). Because Purrmind accounts are anonymous, exercising these rights generally starts with deleting your data as described in Retention & deletion above. If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where required, provide additional notice in the app.
